For the past year, hundreds of thousands have enjoyed Seasons 52 Chef Elvis Bravo’s engaging cooking demonstrations virtually, as part of Cooking with The Galleria’s free online series. Recently, Seasons 52 offered a limited opportunity to meet Chef Bravo in-person at a special culinary experience to benefit the Heart Gallery of Broward County, a respected nonprofit organization committed to finding loving families for the hardest to place foster children. “We are excited to evolve our successful Cooking with The Galleria online series to live, in-person presentations,” said Melissa Milroy, senior marketing manager at The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale. “We have a coveted collection of restaurants, here, and this is an ideal opportunity to create an experience for our shoppers to more intimately connect with them and support the admirable work of charities in our community.” Chef Bravo cooked a few summer BBQ ideas – quick and craveable recipes that you can whip-up at home including Melon Basil Burrata Salad with Crispy Prosciutto, Signature Blackened Mahi Fish Tacos with Mango Pineapple Salsa and No Bake Lemon Blueberry Icebox Cake. The Heart Gallery of Broward County will also partner with The Galleria for the return of “Eat Your Heart Out,” Fort Lauderdale’s favorite food and “fun”raiser featuring gourmet creations, fresh libations, celebrity servers, live entertainment and a silent auction. “Eat Your Heart Out” will take place on October 7, from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at The Galleria. The Heart Gallery of Broward County, one of over 100 independent heart galleries across the country, is a respected not-for-profit committed to finding loving families for the hardest to place foster children. The Heart Gallery of Broward County was introduced in 2007 as a traveling photography exhibit of foster children who were waiting to be permanently adopted and has evolved to work closely with ChildNet and local foster care providers to seek adoptive families and other connections for these children.
