56 Miles off the coast of Florida lies a beautiful laid back resort, Old Bahama Bay Resort & Yacht Harbour on the West End of Grand Bahama Island. Once you arrive you will discover one of the most beautiful beaches in the entire Caribbean region. The white sand beach with turquoise clear water is the centerpiece of this luxury resort. You can relax on a lounge chair or beachside hammock and marvel at the sights and sounds of this unique resort.

This resort is perfect for families, couples that simply want to relax, and for boaters who enjoy fishing.

The out-island nature of West End provides Old Bahama Bay with natural features not found elsewhere. The varying water depths, proximity of the Gulfstream, and nearby magnificent reef formations create unparalleled beauty and water sport experiences. Fishermen can select their sport of choice from world-class bone fishing, bountiful reef fishing, and exceptional deep-sea fishing.

You will also enjoy complimentary use of non-motorized watersports, bicycles, snorkel equipment, beach toys, a playground, tennis and various table and lawn games.

The 4,000 square foot oceanfront pool contains an infinity edge and lounging area.

The resort has 73 beachfront suites which offer a spacious sleeping area, a sofa and dining area with kitchens, and luxurious bathrooms. Each suite has a private patio or balcony.

There is a fitness center and you can arrange for a massage on the beach.

There are two restaurants, Teasers Tiki Bar overlooking the ocean and Dockside Bar and Grille overlooking the marina.

Yacht Harbour is a full-service marina destination offering 72-slips with a controlling depth of 8 feet at mean low tide and 24-hour security.

Bahamian Customs and Immigration are on site making your trip by boat quick and efficient. Its state-of-the-art facilities make Old Bahama Bay the ideal haven for transient and long-term marina guests.

You can arrange various activities and tours through the resort. We highly recommend spending a day in the Lucaya area to enjoy local food, shops and culture. Port Lucaya Marketplace is a good place to wander and there are some fun bars, shops and fine dining restaurants. One restaurant we recommend is Sabor at Pelican Bay Resort.

We also suggest you book your taxi from the airport with the resort’s front desk. The West End taxi drivers are knowledgeable and will also stop at a local grocery store so you can select some beverages and snacks for your room.
