Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC) shared a Valentine’s experience reimagined for the pandemic in a new semi-virtual For the Love of Charity on Valentine’s Day. In a kick-off to Valentine’s Day weekend, For the Love of Charity was for couples and friends to celebrate love and togetherness while raising much-needed funds for CDTC. There were two ways to enjoy the evening. Anyone who wanted to attend in person did so with a pop-up happy hour picnic under the stars on the rooftop deck of the Las Olas Parking Complex. Reserved spaces, more than six feet apart, included a special valentine blanket, charcuterie box, and wine to be enjoyed while listening to live music. For those opting to stay home, guests reserved a dinner package from Chef Lenore Nolan Ryan that was delivered to their home. All proceeds benefited the children and families at the non-profit CDTC which serves nearly 11,000 clients annually and promotes the optimal health and well-being of children with special healthcare needs by providing comprehensive prevention, intervention, and treatment services.
